A Paradigm Shift: The Impact of HIV/AIDS on African American Women and Families conference is designed to focus on the impact of HIV/AIDS on African American women and their families. This conference targeting the community, stakeholders, policy makers, and researchers will highlight the urgent need to call attention to the persistent health disparities and HIV's impact on Black women, particularly as we examine the inadequate level of funding and dedicated resources to combat this problem at the national, state and local levels. 


This collaborative of national academic, philanthropic and HIV/AIDS organizations on November 2-3, 2017 in Atlanta, GA at Morehouse School of Medicine will convene over 500 advocates, researchers, HIV positive women, legislators and policy leaders to discuss the direct impact of the disease on black women.  This conference offers variety of keynote addresses, educational sessions, and interactive workshops with national and international leaders on HIV/AIDs and black women.
